The European Commission and the European Training Foundation (ETF), in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro, are organising the annual Seminar for EAfA Partner Countries in Podgorica on 7-8 October 2025.
The seminar will bring together stakeholders from government bodies, businesses, social partners, vocational education and training (VET) providers, youth organisations, and other relevant parties from the EU Member States and ETF partner countries that are members of EAfA. This is the 10th edition in a series of seminars for EAfA partner countries.
The event serves as a platform for participants to share their experiences and achievements in developing and delivering apprenticeships.
The event will focus on two key themes: financial and non-financial incentives for apprenticeships and the matching of companies and students.
During the seminar, the latest policy developments in apprenticeships and work-based learning in selected EAfA partner countries will be presented. Participants will engage in peer learning and knowledge sharing.
Additionally, the event provides an opportunity for participants to learn directly from vocational training practices. Attendees will visit relevant stakeholders, including schools and companies, to observe how work-based learning is implemented in Montenegro and hear from local managers, trainers, and learners.
