The European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) and the European Training Foundation (ETF) in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation of Albania are planning to organise the ninth annual Seminar for EAfA Partner Countries in Tirana, Albania on 17-18 October 2024.
This seminar will bring together stakeholders such as government bodies, businesses, social partners, chambers, vocational education and training (VET) providers, regional authorities, youth representatives and other relevant parties from EU Member States and ETF Partner Countries members of the EAfA. The event will provide the opportunity to promote the EAfA network and its main objectives, namely, to strengthen the supply, quality, supply and overall image of apprenticeships as well as to promote the mobility of apprentices, among EU neighbouring countries.
The event will offer a platform for participants to share their experiences and successes in creating and offering apprenticeships. It will feature presentations on the latest policy updates regarding apprenticeships and work-based learning in selected EAfA Partner Countries. The event will focus on two key themes: Apprentices Assessment and Apprenticeships for Adults.
Furthermore, attendees will have the unique opportunity to observe vocational training practices first-hand by visiting the sites of various stakeholders, including schools and companies. The event will allow participants to gain insights on the implementation of work-based learning in Albania directly from local managers, trainers, learners, and policymakers.
