Organised by the OECD and the CCRI, the event will launch the Circular Economy Scans for Møre and Romsdal (Norway), Central Macedonia (Greece) and Berlin (Germany), as part of a series of ten scans supporting the circular transition at local and regional level across the European Union.

Why should I attend the launch?

This event will provide an opportunity to policymakers, business leaders, and experts on the circular economy from across Europe to:

• Find out how cities and regions are transitioning from a linear to a circular economy;
• Share information on political priorities at local and regional scale in relation to the Green Deal and the Circular Economy Action Plan;
• Learn from experts’ insights on concrete actions to accelerate the transition.

The appraisal event marks a crucial milestone in the DEFINITE CCRI project's journey. After months of intensive work on project development, financial modeling, impact assessment, and legal compliance, four circularity-focused projects will present their pitches to a diverse group of European investors behind closed doors. These projects span various sectors, locations, and stages of development, catering to the different interests and specialties of the attending investors. Following the event, the projects will receive further support by DEFINITE CCRI partners to secure and deploy capital, as well as negotiate terms with potential investors.
